Malacca.org - The toughts of a malaccan

i was born in the state of malacca was based in makati city, philippines but now in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. i like to write down my toughts when i have time and keen to share with all. nothing fancy, nothing special here except what i see through my eyes and my SonyEricsson camera phone. i'am still a fan of the online dictionary - wikipedia and spend a lot of my online time reading articles there

"malacca was colonized by 4 powers - portugese, dutch, english and japanese. each of the powers brought one thing that will be unique to malacca. portugese brought an end to a sultanate, dutch introduced taxes and beers, english contributed rubber trees and japanese brought in the walkman."

Diary Date: September 23, 08
I went back to Malacca for my holidays last week and came back to Vietnam on Sept 22, 08. The landing was hard. It's felt like the aircraft was breaking a part. The pilot gave his apologies but I was not amused. Luckily my daughter was sound asleep at that time.

Diary Date: September 4, 08
My family came to visit me in Vietnam and I brought them to visit Củ Chi Tunnel in Củ Chi District of Ho Chi Minh City (roughly 50 mins journey from where I stay). It's educational and a bit boring. Do you all know that's a nice temple on the tunnel site? Don't forget to visit the temple if you're there. It's nice. There's a huge statue of Ho Chi Minh inside the main temple building. If you need further information on Củ Chi Tunnel, please visit their official site.
